Day 3 in Perth

Well it's day three in Perth, I've looks at 8 houses but have not found the one yet. I will keep looking and I am sure the right one will come up.

Not much else has happened on the India front (which is a good thing), the bubs are about 34 weeks and I still have a whole lot of stuff to get done, while the plan is to leave on the 14th, I hope to to be ready and packed by mid next week.

I am still really stuck on names, I love old traditional names that are not too common and spelled correctly, I also want to choose a really nice indian middle name, that has a special meaning and starts with the same letter of their surrogate's name. I've found this website and it has been of some help http://www.indiaparenting.com/names/names1.cgi?param1=foreign but I am still very undecided.

Oh when I was in india in June, I brought my nephews and neices some nice traditional indian outfits, whiles the girls loved them (and thought they were fairy dresses) the boys weren't too interested.  On monday my nephew was showing me his room and had the outfit hanging up, so I asked him why he had'nt worn his "royal prince outfit" and told him it was a very special suit, it was funny to watch as he jumped into it straight away. I'm going to try and upload a picture of it. They are really looking forward to seeing their cousins and I love the questions they ask.

33 And a bit weeks.

Those bellies are getting big.

I arrive in Perth tonight.

For a busy week. Will be looking for a car and house. I have a job interview on Wednesday for some casual work in my departments state office, my job has given me 16 months leave at half pay but I don't want to move back across the country. So the plan is to get me foot in the door and help the state office out if anything casual comes out.

I have also decided to buy most of the baby stuff in India then bother carrying around 8 tins of formula. I was told not to change formula but after looking into this as long as you use the same type of formula it should be fine.

I was also will look at using an online baby website. As this may make life a bit easier. I will post the link in my comments, as blogging by this iPhone application is slightly frustrating.

3 weeks to go until I get to India.

And here's that link. I have Charlie to thank for this info.

Week 32

Things seem a bit frantic in an organised way. I moved out of the house yesterday, sold my car on Friday and my last day at work is tomorrow.

My flights to India are booked. I fly to Bangkok on 14th February ($500) then on 18 February we fly to Delhi ($180) the we should be returning to Perth on 14 march (520). I ended up getting a cheap flight by using the qantas India website. It ended up being $300 bucks cheaper than the Australian site I just had to pay in rupees.

Mum and Dad are really excited and it will be their first time in India. I'm back in Perth next week for three weeks and will try to get them prepared as possible.

I've decided not to worry about the changes in travel visas as I started this journey before they came about.
