30 weeks and getting nervous

The Bubs are going well and are just two days off 30 weeks. One if my surrogates is back in hospital and has been vomiting. I hope she recovers quickly, hopefully I will get some more information soon.

I'm a bit nervous about what is happening in India in regards to exit visas. I've seen in a few places that single or gay couples have had some problems and have had to pay bribes.

I'm interested in hearing what people have done to get through the process. I've applied and received a tourist visa.

  1. Hi Adrian,

Well done on reaching the 30 week mark - it is such an exciting milestone. Keep positive about your surrogate who is in hospital, the team at SCI are great and will be giving her the best possible medical attention and are always good at answering your questions if you feel unsure about anything.

With regards to your question about the exit visa, you have nothing to worry about, we have been liaising with a local support to help us through the process we have been advised not to listen to the rumours that are circulating. If you would like more info on who you can speak with locally, drop me a line at mjsboyd@gmail.com

    All the best,
    Mike

  2. Sorry to hear of one of the surrogates having trouble, being so far away and unable to do anything.

The surrogate carrying my Twins has just passed 31 weeks, and this is in Mumbai (Rotunda). I hear or read the sorts of issues other surrogates have and I wonder what i did to get such a person to carry my twins, according to the doctors, No Morning sickness or anything. The only issues we have had, was Excessive liqor in one of the twins sac, but doctors are not concerned apparently.

When are you booking to return to India ?, I have booked to return in the second week of January, Hoping to get there before the birth. Visa is sorted (Tourist) :)

Hang tight, The doctors know what they are doing.

    Regards.

    1. Thank you.
My surrogate came out last night so everything is going well again.

I've booked one way flights to Delhi from Perth via Bangkok for 720. Flights home are around 500 and am waiting a little while before I book the return. I Will arrive in Delhi on 18 feb. my guess at this stage is that the birth will be after the 23rd.

Congrats on the 31 week mark.

  5. Well done Adrian. We are from Perth as well (Nth of the River) and heading over this weekend. We are having a planned Caesarean at a little over 38 weeks. Good luck with the life changing event that will happen shortly. Pete and Lynda
